Since and whilst I attended a course in Boston USA in 2017 run by Entrepreneurial Scotland, I have repeatedly made false and untrue allegations about Gary Curley who attended the course at the same time. These false and untrue allegations include that Gary has stalked me, that he has paid multiple individuals to stalk me in various locations, that he has issued or caused to be issued death threats against me, that he has broken into my house and carried out unlawful surveillance of me, that he was working with the Metropolitan Police who were covering up his activities, that he has tried to discredit me by making false claims to the police in my name and that he is a criminal who is a danger to women.
From July 2021 I published these false and untrue allegations widely on my social media accounts and blogging sites. I have also posted them on other organisations’ social media accounts. I contributed to a story in the Evening Standard Newspaper that appeared on 18th January 2022 where I falsely claimed to be a victim of stalking in circumstances that were clearly referrable to previous false and untrue allegations against Gary Curley that I have made on social media.
Nothing I wrote or said about Gary Curley is true. I should not have made these allegations about him. I accept that every allegation I made about him whether to Entrepreneurial Scotland, the Police or on any of my social media postings, blogs or in any newspaper story are untrue, false and extremely damaging and distressing to him and his family. I am also sorry for the efforts I went to in order to distribute these false allegations widely by sharing them with multiple social media groups and tagging multiple media outlets, politicians such as Boris Johnson, Sir Keir Starmer, Priti Patel, Jeremy Corbyn and multiple media celebrities.
I cannot undue all the damage and distress I have caused, but I have taken steps to try and remove any and all such notifications from social media and any other platforms where they may appear as well as to publish this apology widely. I would ask anyone with whom I may have shared the false allegations with to delete them too should they appear on their social media accounts or any other platform I may have shared with them. I have also asked that my name and any false comments I made be removed from the newspaper article I contributed to.
